Japanese wake words should be evaluated across mora timing, pronunciation differences, speakers and microphone conditions.

An online workflow lets a product team enter a custom Japanese phrase, generate a model, test it before download and then integrate standard ONNX or TFLite output. Voicute supports Japanese custom wake-word generation and offline deployment paths.

Before shipping, measure recall and false triggers with the final device. A translated phrase is not automatically a reliable wake word.
